Psalm 32

“When I Kept Silent”

Each year many people make New Year’s resolutions.  Jonathan Edwards resolved to endeavor for as much happiness in the other world as possible.  True happiness comes from being made right with God—enjoying a right relationship with God.  However, there is a deceit that troubles the mature Christian; namely, concealed sin.  Concealed sin is willful, ruling sin yet hidden.  Where do you spend your life?  Landscaping your front yard, so to speak, or in the back rooms of the house?  By the conviction of the Holy Spirit, confess your sin and experience the glory of forgiveness in Christ Jesus.
