Tired of Fighting?
But it doesn't have to be this way. God's Word calls all Christians to bring glory to God by living out the gospel in their relationships, and Rocky Mountain Community Church is committed to being a peacemaking church. This means that we help believers to respond to conflict in a way that demonstrates the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
Of course, functioning as a peacemaking church does not just happen overnight. It takes regular teaching, preaching, and assisting in biblical conflict resolution. We do this through our ordained leaders, our lay leaders and members, and the ministry of our Peacemaking Team.
We have adopted the Peacemaker's Pledge as a practical guideline for how Christians should resolve their differences, and we are committed to assisting our members in living out these principles in the midst of life's conflicts. Even our children are regularly involved in the ministry of biblical peacemaking! And the blessings of peace follow our efforts: marriages and families are strengthened, our church is united, and we are enabled to work together to build a thriving, gospel-centered ministry.
To learn more about how to resolve conflict in a biblically-faithful, gospel-centered way, please review the written and audio resources that are available in the church office or library. You can also find a wealth of biblical and practical information on conflict resolution through the Peacemaker® Ministries' website. And, of course, the members and leaders of Rocky Mountain Community Church (including our Peacemaking Team) are available to help.
