Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculórum. Amen.
The men of RMCC seek to be IRON men. No, we're not a team of tri-athletes! But we are striving to lead spiritually in our homes and in our church family as the Lord calls us. This calling requires training, encouragement, and accountability. Whether leading a small group, serving at the rescue mission or in the nursery, or leading a family in worship of God, the men of RMCC strive to grow in these key areas:
Men's Breakfast-Our monthly men's ministry is aimed at develooping our spiritual disciplines together with other men in the church. Men's Breakfast is a time of good food, Bible study, and prayer for men who are served a hot breakfast prepared by our women the second Saturday of each month.
Men's Accountability/Prayer Groups-Men regularly gather in small groups at various locations throughout our city prayer, accountability, and mutual encouragement (Heb.10:24). We recognize that the Christian life cannot be lived rightly in isolation, so we seek to build deep and vulnerable relationships with our fellow brothers.
Potential Officer Training-Leadership is encouraged at RMCC, and our lay ministry structure called Grace.Net allows for many people to participate. RMCC is governed by a two-office system of elders and deacons. For those who do not want to be an officer but want to use their leadership and service abilities, or for those who are desirous to be officers, Grace.Net provides the opportunity to lead and serve. Men who demonstrate a pattern of selfless service and have an interest in pursuing further service as officers in the church are nominated and enrolled in an intensive training in systematic theology and the duties of the offices of elder and deacon taught by Pastor Alfred.
Ushers-The men of RMCC serve faithfully each week to ensure that we have an orderly and comfortable worship service. Ushering duties include both facilitating the seating of members and guests as well as building and parking lot security.
