Pray for Peacemaking in the Church Globally

Our mission prayer focus for September is on peacemaking. In Christ we have been fully restored in our relationship to the Father. Through the gospel we are called to live in peace with one another and to be ministers of peace. This is a message that God’s people need to hear, believe and live throughout the world. These prayer requests are in addition to those on the Renewing a Passion for God bookmarks.

• Pray that seminaries around the world will implement the seminary level peacemaking training developed by Peacemaker Ministries. Pray especially that the seminaries associated with Overseas Counsel International will lead in this.
• Pray that God will work in the many seminary students who receive this peacemaking training, that these future pastors and church leaders will become peacemakers, living and proclaiming the gospel of Christ as they teach God’s people to be reconciled to one another.
• Pray for missionary Caleb Dunn as he preaches and teaches over the next several weeks on peacemaking in the Ciudad Victoria churches. Pray that all who hear will grow as gospel believers and peacemakers.
• Pray for RMCC missionaries Craig and Kris Eldeen and Chrissie Schicktanz that they will have many opportunities to be peacemakers in Karamoja, building up the church in Christ.
• Pray for Pastor Alfred as he prepares to teach Biblical peacemaking to MBB* church leaders in Bangladesh this December. Pray that Pastor Alfred will be able to make his teaching culturally relevant and that the pastors and church planters who receive the teaching will become peacemakers who live and teach peacemaking to their people.
